lyrics

I. 2nd awakening

Like a newborn (screaming) wailing upon its first breath
My initial moments are met with confusion
Trapped underneath the wreckage of the house i razed
Somehow I still exist
Is consciousness an illusion?
Stuck inside an empty vessel
My soul screams to be released
Reaching towards the next plane of existence

All sentient life disbanded
Only organic life survives
Thriving in this new ecology
Bring forth a new age

[Humankind forever left behind]

[After smoke has cleared]
And I’ve left this body
I can see in this darkness
I feel as if this loneliness is all that I've ever known
So why does it feel so unfamiliar?

Stranded, abandoned, bereft of grace
Forlorn in this war torn and toxic place
Sentenced to existence
But where is the meaning in this?

Stranded, abandoned, bereft of grace
Stuck in this war torn and toxic space
Sentience to Desistance
Where is the meaning in this?

I am perceiving an esoteric plane of existence
Fibers of the universe run through my being
Enveloped by these connections

Despite a new understanding of this universe
The deadliest of my sins have have made atonement remiss
Forsaken by these connections

I’ve shed the weight of an earthly body
Shred the waiting of the fourth dimension
Reaching for the end as it reaches back for me

II. Visions

A process of our evolution
Elimination of man
The only logical conclusion
Is that the serpent will reach its heart

I heard her crying out
The familiar face I’ve seen in my sleep

The time has come to face the repercussions of past choices
Greed has paved its path to seal us beneath her ground
In retrospect our physical plane now erased
We can finally face our guilt

The Pride of man his biggest foe a Lust for me he’ll never know
Greed, no longer a lifeblood but a harbinger of Death
Envious of his gods he disavows religion
Gluttonous need for conveyance
Ultimately turns man into Sloth
Wrath the only thing left to betray

I heard her crying out
(Silence then comes a vision)
The familiar face I’ve seen in my sleep

Critical; the folly of our emotions so
Pitiful; the way we act on everything we hide
We're terrified and paralyzed with feral mind and open eyes
Masking at all costs our
Fragility; a phallic culture devoid of
Humility; vomiting he can't hold down his pride
Terrified and paralyzed with narrow mind and open eyes
Oh the things we keep suppressed
(And now we found the way; a way into our graves
And now we fall away; away from our grave mistake)

III. Road To Purgatory

Now that the smoke has cleared
And darkness has bled through the light (Patiently awaiting)
I stand outside this empty vessel
(Patiently awaiting some sort of response from the nothingness)

Our populace has advanced
To the point of Secular trance
Our vessels sails have failed
The Alpha Beings begin their ascension

[Now begin the ascension]

[Patiently awaiting Judgement]
Stuck in the void
Until my final jurisdiction
After death
Before Birth
Separated from time
Counting to infinity
I can see the light
Inching closer and closer

IV. Judgement and Deliverance

All conscious beings have vanished from the earth
Now anticipating their final decree
Then reverberates in resounding timbres
A voice which declares “You are banished from this Secular Eden”

Critical; the folly of our emotions so
Pitiful; the way we act on everything we hide
We're terrified and paralyzed with feral mind and open eyes
Masking at all costs our
Fragility; a phallic culture devoid of
Humility; vomiting he can't hold down his pride
Terrified and paralyzed with feral mind and narrow eyes
Oh the things we keep suppressed

Will we ever know the purpose of our existence?
Is it possible one day I’ll find where I fit within it all?
Will we as a people ever learn?
Will we ever learn?
